Combine W2/1099

If a customer wants to do a combined W2 or 1099 of ALL clients at once, this can be done by performing the following.

* UTILITIES \ COMBINE W2/1099 ELECTRONIC FILES

* PROGRAM WILL DEFAULT TO THE "COMBINE W2 ELECTRONIC FILES" TAB. 1099 PROCESS HAS TO BE RUN SEPARATELY.

* SELECT CLIENTS ON LEFT SIDE OR CLICK "SELECT ALL" ON RIGHT SIDE

* CLICK "CREATE A "COMBINED" W2 ELECTRONIC FILE FROM THE ONES SELECTED AND CLICK "CLOSE"

* THEN GO TO "W2 AND 1099" MENU DROP DOWN AND CHOOSE "ELECTRONIC W2/1099 LIST AND COPY"

* CLICK "USED COMBINED FILE" ON RIGHT HAND SIDE

* CLICK "COPY W2 FILE TO OTHER DRIVE / FOLDER" OR "COPY 1099 FILE TO OTHER DRIVE /FOLDER" DEPENDING ON WHICH ONE YOU'RE DOING

* CLICK "OK" AND SAVE FILE IN A LOCATION OF YOUR CHOOSING. PROGRAM WILL GIVE IT A NAME OF THE CLIENT YOU HAVE ACTIVATED SO I RECOMMEND NAMING IT SOMETHING LIKE (*YEAR* *W2 OR 1099* *COMBINED") SO IF YEAR 2015 AND DOING W2, NAME IT 2015W2COMBINED OR SOMETHING MORE MEANINGFUL TO YOU.

* CLICK "CLOSE"

* REPEAT SAME PROCESS FOR 1099 AND BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE "COMBINE 1099 ELECTRONIC FILES" TAB

NOW YOU ARE READY TO UPLOAD THE FILE TO THE IRS
